Updated Note on the measure 1, 3 , 5 for elimination of economic consequences of the Coronavirus

This Note presents three of the measures for elimination of economic consequences of the Coronavirus (adopted by the Government of the Republic of Armenia on 26.03.2020), which, in our view, are of most interest to BDO clients, as well as information on their application procedures, taking into account the additions and changes made by the Government of the Republic of Armenia as of 09.04.2020. 

They are as follows: RA Government Decree N 355-L (First measure for elimination of economic consequences of the Coronavirus), RA Government Decree N 357-L (Third measure for elimination of economic consequences of the Coronavirus), and RA Government Decree N 359-L (Fifth measure for elimination of economic consequences of the Coronavirus) together with their appendices.

The program principles of the Governmental package are set out in RA Government Decree N 354-L dated 26 March 2020 (on the adoption of the Comprehensive Plan of Measures for response to the consequences of Coronavirus). 

The purpose of these measures is to mitigate the risks related to the current liquidity of the economic entities, to
maintain effective workplaces amidst the difficulties encountered, to provide temporary access to financial
resources for economic entities, etc.
