Note on the Measures for Elimination of Economic Consequences of the Coronavirus

This reference presents the measures taken by the Government of Armenia to eliminate the economic consequences, which are set out in Annexes to RA GD No 358-L adopted on 26.03.2020 (Fourth measure for elimination of the economic consequences of the Coronavirus), RA GD No 410-L (Sixth  measure for elimination of the economic consequences of the Coronavirus), RA GD No 411-L (Seventh measure for elimination of the economic consequences of the Coronavirus) and RA GD No 412-L (Eighth measure for elimination of the economic consequences of the Coronavirus) adopted on 30.03.2020.

The program principles of the  Governmental package are set out in RA Government Decree N 354-L dated 26 March 2020 (on the adoption of the Comprehensive Plan of Measures for response to the consequences of Coronavirus). The purpose of these measures is to mitigate the risks related to the current liquidity of the economic entities, to maintain effective workplaces amidst the difficulties encountered, to provide temporary access to financial resources for economic entities, to provide targeted support to those, who have lost their job, etc.
